Waiting.
Many times this word comes with a negative connotation. It can mean not having your way, missing out on something, or just having to be patient.
But, today it doesn’t mean any of those things.
Today waiting means hope and joy.
Waiting today means that many are coming to freedom.
We wait, at all hours of the day and night. We are waiting in expectancy that you will get a phone call saying it’s time to get on a boat.
We wait so that you will have joyful faces to greet you, hands to provide food, and friends to listen.
We are waiting for you, full of hope for you.
We are waiting because we want to know you, we want to serve you, we want to help you on your journey.
So Today,
Waiting is not a bad thing; today I want to wait. We all want to wait so we can celebrate reaching freedom with you.
So come, we are waiting for you.

What a beautiful way to think about waiting. Waiting on people in order to wait on people. Such a heart of service…precious.
